CeBIT exhibition originated in 1947 in Hannover, Germany founded to the international market to showcase German products Hannover Industrial Exhibition (HANNOVER MESSE) office automation exhibition.
1970, meaning "office and information technology center" German abbreviation, CeBIT word first appeared in the exhibition.
In 1984, Hannover Messi finally announced that since 1986, CeBIT will be held as an independent exhibition in March each year. With the rapid development of personal computers in the 1980s, CeBIT eventually became an independent IT exhibition from the Hannover Messe.
